Made by Crafters from the world renowned Choiseul Craft Centre at the heart of La Fargue Choiseul in Saint Lucia.
Our Chwazey laptop bag is made of local material such as palama straw leaves, cus-cus grass embellished with a mixture of madras and handmade flowers.
Traditionally, straw products were very popularly made in smaller communities in Choiseul, and still, continue to be a source of income for craft workers.
The Choiseul Arts and Craft Center in La Fargue served as both an exhibition area and a point of sale for straw products made by people from the community. As of late Shop D Caribbean has taken the initiative of retailing the Craft pieces online.
