Sea moss (Chondrus crispus) is a type of sea vegetable that naturally grows along the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean. The variety we offer is Eucheuma Cottonii, harvested by small-scale aquaculture farmers in the pristine waters of St. Lucia.
How Our Sea Moss Is Prepared
After harvesting, the sea moss is thoroughly cleaned and naturally sun-dried for several days. The drying process helps preserve its natural characteristics while maintaining product quality. Variations in color and size occur naturally and reflect the environment in which it was grown.
Sourcing & Authenticity
We work closely with our St. Lucian partners to ensure responsible harvesting and sustainability. Each bulk order includes a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of St. Lucia.
